Winter League Season Starts January 3! – Register HERE!

Is your daughter interested in taking the next step in her gymnastics experience? League introduces recreational students to gymnastics competition. League is open to all girls ages 6 & up; it requires enrollment in a regular class plus Friday League practice. Gymnasts who participate in League are given priority consideration for our traveling teams.

What's Happening in Class?

Girls 3-4, Novice 1-2, and Advanced 3-4 Classes

Our expanded equipment set up has really improved the instruction environment for our experienced girls' classes! Coaches have more opportunities to focus on correct technique and form, as well as introduce drills for competitive-level skills. Stations on beam and floor have focused on gymnastics dance elements including leaps and split jumps. Coaches have also been working on improving tumbling technique for round offs and front handsprings. On bars, gymnasts are working towards tap swings on the high bar and kip drills.

Boys Beginner, 1-2, and 3-4 Classes

Boys coaches are challenging their students to be “stronger than their dads!” All class levels are working on support walks and swings on parallel bars. Our Boys 3-4 classes have introduced support holds on the rings – the instability of the rings makes this skill extra challenging! They are also learning basic circle technique on the mushroom; the mushroom (actually the official name) is a “little brother” to the pommel horse that you see elite athletes use on TV.

Tumbling Classes

Tumbling lesson plans rotate their focus between backward tumbling and front/aerial skills. Whatever the focus, our coaches are dedicated to helping each tumbling student reach his/her own individual goals using gymnastics-based techniques and drills.
